Cookie Notice

1. Scope

This Cookie Notice explains how Ruzaani uses cookies and similar browser technologies on ruzaani.com. It should be read together with the Privacy Notice, which explains more broadly how Ruzaani processes personal data, the purposes for which information is used, applicable retention periods, and the rights available to individuals.

Ruzaani is a trade name operated by Fernando Alberto Ocampo Romay, with domicile at Hidalgo 914, Centro, Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz 96400, Mexico. Questions concerning cookies, tracking technologies, or privacy preferences may be addressed to [email protected].

2. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small piece of information stored by a browser and returned to a website when subsequent requests are made. Cookies may be used to maintain a session, remember a preference, protect a service from unauthorized use, measure website activity, or support advertising and attribution functions.

Similar technologies may include browser storage, pixels and tags. Browser storage differs technically from cookies because information is retained by the browser rather than automatically transmitted with every request, but it may serve related purposes. This Notice therefore covers both cookies and similar browser-storage technologies.

Ruzaani distinguishes between technologies required to provide functionality requested by the visitor and optional technologies used for analytics or advertising measurement.

3. Strictly necessary technologies

Strictly necessary technologies support website operation, form security and requested functions. They are not used for advertising.

The website uses a cookie named _session_id containing a random identifier. It connects a browser to server-side form and security state, including protection against forged submissions and relevant status messages. The cookie does not itself contain the contact-form narrative or an email address.

The application sets the cookie with Path=/, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and requires the Secure attribute in production. It does not assign a persistent browser expiry. The server session expires twenty-four hours after creation; an older cookie cannot restore an expired session. Browser session-restoration settings can affect how long the cookie remains visible in the browser.

Strictly necessary technologies may operate without optional analytics or advertising being enabled. Security and network providers may also use technologies necessary for their functions; such technologies must not be treated as permission to enable optional advertising.

4. Browser storage and preferences

Privacy choices may need to be recorded to honor a visitor's decision. Such a record is limited to the preference and information needed to apply it; it must not contain contact narratives or CRM records. This Notice does not promise a particular preference-cookie name or browser-storage implementation.

Deleting browser storage can remove a saved choice, so a visitor may need to make that choice again. Browser controls and the privacy contact route are explained below.

5. Operational information and measurement

Necessary session and security information is distinct from optional analytics and advertising measurement. A session identifier is not anonymous while it can be linked to activity or a record.

Ruzaani uses Google Analytics, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel as described below. It does not operate the former self-service assessment event system as part of the current website. Contact narratives, CRM records and confidential engagement information are outside the permitted content of analytics events.

6. Google Analytics

Ruzaani uses Google Analytics to understand general website usage, including how visitors reach and interact with public pages. Google Analytics is treated as an optional analytics technology. Ruzaani's policy requires consent to optional analytics before activation for a visitor.

Ruzaani does not intentionally send email addresses, CRM records, contact-form narratives, client information or prospect communications to Google Analytics.

Information processed by Google through this technology may nevertheless include browser, device, network, page-interaction, and related technical information according to Google's own service operation and applicable configuration.

7. LinkedIn Insight Tag

Ruzaani uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the effectiveness of activity associated with LinkedIn, understand visits originating from or related to LinkedIn campaigns or content, and support permitted audience and attribution functions.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag is an optional advertising and measurement technology and is not required to use Ruzaani's website. Ruzaani's policy requires consent to optional advertising before activation for a visitor.

Ruzaani does not intentionally transmit email addresses, CRM records, client materials, prospect communications or contact-form narratives through the LinkedIn Insight Tag.

8. Meta Pixel

Ruzaani uses the Meta Pixel to measure website activity related to Meta platforms, evaluate campaign or content performance, and support permitted advertising attribution or audience functions.

The Meta Pixel is optional and is not required for ordinary website content, contact functions or agreed services. Ruzaani's policy requires consent to optional advertising before activation for a visitor.

Ruzaani does not intentionally transmit email addresses, CRM records, client or prospect information, or contact-form narratives through the Meta Pixel.

9. Information excluded from tracking

Ruzaani does not authorize contact-form narratives, email addresses, HubSpot contact lists, confidential client materials or prospect correspondence to be sent through analytics or advertising tags. Automatic matching and contact-list audience uploads are not covered by this Notice.

A page visit or conversion event can still include technical identifiers, URLs, referrer information and browser characteristics. LinkedIn and Meta may connect this activity with information associated with their users. Ruzaani therefore treats these technologies as optional tracking, not anonymous operational reporting.

10. Privacy choices and withdrawal

Google Analytics, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel are enabled website technologies. Their inclusion does not remove the requirement for a visitor's consent before optional tracking is activated. Refusal must not prevent ordinary browsing or contact with Ruzaani.

Where website preference controls are presented, use them to accept, refuse or change the relevant categories. You may also withdraw consent or request help by writing to [email protected], identifying the relevant site and preference without sending passwords or authentication tokens. Ruzaani must honor applicable withdrawal requests; an email route is not a substitute for obtaining required consent before tracking begins.

Browser settings can block or delete cookies and limit cross-site tracking. Changing a choice does not automatically erase information already lawfully processed. Privacy rights concerning retained data remain available under the Privacy Notice.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally effective browser or device privacy signal, Ruzaani must respect that requirement. This statement does not claim that every signal or browser setting has already been independently tested.

11. Third-party technologies

Optional analytics and advertising technologies are operated in part by their respective providers. Those providers may process technical and interaction information according to their own systems, contractual roles, and privacy practices.

Ruzaani determines which technologies are enabled on its website and restricts the information intentionally supplied through its implementation. Ruzaani does not authorize third-party analytics or advertising providers to receive client materials, CRM records, prospect communications or contact-form narratives through those technologies.

The Privacy Notice contains additional information concerning service providers, international processing, and disclosures of personal data.

12. Retention

Cookie duration and retention of associated service data are different. The _session_id cookie has no persistent expiry attribute, while its server-side session expires 90 days after creation.

The Privacy Notice describes Ruzaani's retention policy. Provider retention of event records may continue independently of a cookie's expiry, subject to the applicable settings, purposes and legal requirements.

13. Browser controls

Blocking all cookies indiscriminately may interfere with strictly necessary functions, including form security and relevant session state. Optional analytics and advertising technologies should instead be controlled through Ruzaani's privacy-preference mechanism where available.

Deletion of a browser cookie does not necessarily delete information already retained by Ruzaani for a separate lawful purpose. Requests concerning retained personal data are governed by the Privacy Notice and may be submitted to [email protected].

14. Changes to this Cookie Notice

The version published at ruzaani.com/cookies/ is the current Cookie Notice and becomes effective on the date shown at the beginning of the document.

Ruzaani may revise this Notice when its use of cookies, browser storage, analytics technologies, advertising technologies, or applicable legal requirements changes. Ordinary revisions are communicated through publication of the updated Notice with a new effective date.

Where a new technology requires consent or another affirmative choice before use, publication of an updated Notice does not replace that requirement. The corresponding technology will be subject to the applicable privacy-preference mechanism before activation.

15. Language

Ruzaani may publish this Cookie Notice in more than one language. Where legally permissible, the English version governs interpretation in the event of an inconsistency between published language versions, without limiting mandatory rights arising under applicable law.
